Introduction of D.G.T. Vision Inc. 

In our materialistic, competitive and complex society, inner peace escapes many of us. Buddhist philosophy is like a river which eradicates our inner troubles with its powerful current. Two thousand and five hundred years ago, Buddha Shakyamuni attained full enlightenment in Bodhgaya and spent the rest of his life teaching the path of liberation to all sentient beings.  

Karma Kagyu Linage is one of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism and has perfectly preserved the precious teaching of Buddha Shakyamuni. Karmapa means ‘the one who carries out Buddha-activity’ or ‘the embodiment of all the activities of the Buddhas’. His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa is a great enlightened teacher and consciously chose to be reborn seventeen times to help sentient beings. In each lifetime, His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa played an important role in preserving and propagating Buddhist teachings.  

Venerable Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche is a highly realised master of Buddhism and an erudite teacher of Buddhist philosophy.  He received formal recognition as a reincarnate Tulku from His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa and is the representative of His Holiness the Seventeenth Gyalwang Karmapa – Orgyen Trinley Dorje in Australia. 

In the last few years, we have been very fortunate to have the benefit of Venerable Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche’s visits to Australia. Dekhung Rinpoche, in his great compassion and generosity, shares his wisdom with his students in Australia. Dekhung Rinpoche always taught that all people regardless of their different backgrounds have the same innate potential capability to attain enlightenment. He frequently emphasised the importance of harmonious relationship among people, which can be achieved if one practises concern for the wellbeing of and compassion for others. 

D.G.T. Vision Inc. is established in Sydney in the year 2009 by a group of people on instructions and with the blessing of Dekhung Rinpoche. It is formed to facilitate the charitable activities of Venerable Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche in Australia and overseas. The Association hopes that it can encourage many people to work together for the wellbeing of others and to develop our innate compassionate nature.
